Most people lose an interview in the first five minutes — not because they can't do the job, but because they haven't put words to what they've done. Our free online Interview Preparation tool asks about the job, the employer, your experience level, the format (in person, video, phone screen, panel, or on-the-spot at a hiring event), and what worries you most. It comes back with the questions you are most likely to hear, a short model approach for each, a fully worked STAR example — Situation, Task, Action, Result — you can adapt to your own history, honest coaching on tough spots like gaps in your work history or why you left your last job, five strong questions to ask the interviewer, and a day-before and day-of checklist that covers what to bring, what to wear, and how to set up a quiet space and test your camera for a video interview. At any center you can then sit for a mock interview with real feedback, and staff can help with follow-up thank-you notes and salary questions.
