Help Paying for Training

Through Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding and partner scholarships, eligible residents can get help paying for approved career training — including tuition, books, tools, and sometimes transportation or child care while you train.

Who may qualify

• Adults 18+ who are authorized to work in the U.S. and meet program guidelines.
• Priority for low-income individuals, dislocated workers, veterans, and eligible spouses.
• Training must be for an occupation in demand in the region.

How to get started

1. 1Request an appointment with a career specialist.
2. 2Complete an eligibility assessment — bring ID, Social Security card, and income documents.
3. 3Choose an approved training program with your specialist.
4. 4Start training — we check in with you until you're hired.
